5月13日，我市产业项目建设现场会举行，市委书记、市人大常委会主任刘和生带队，到城陵矶新港区多个重大产业项目建设现场进行考察。陈爱林、熊炜、谈正红、李为、杨昆、刘晓英等市领导，以及各县市区主要负责人参加。
考察团到达复星合力新材料项目现场后，湖南复星合力新材料有限公司总经理许国生对项目一期建设情况作了简要汇报，他表示，在各级领导与部门的支持和配合下，项目建设正有条不紊的向前推进，预计十月前投产。
刘和生书记指出，项目要继续攻坚克难、按时间节点、安全有序快速推进项目建设，为岳阳经济腾飞贡献力量。
